Community Events

To develop a way of working together around early intervention that has not been attempted before is a complex undertaking. The success of Help Me Grow Inland Empire will rely on individuals from across the Inland Empire who want to be part of a community that decides to put its 400,000 youngest children first. Join us!

Early Intervention Virtual Summit 2020

November 17, 2020

During this interactive day of learning, sharing, and building together for our region’s children, nearly 200 attendees heard the latest on the launch of Help Me Grow Inland Empire, shared ideas for the expansion of the system regionwide, and learned about two critical issues affecting young children’s development today, systemic racism and COVID-19.

2018-2019 Community Summits

Help Me Grow Inland Empire hosted three community summits in 2018-2019 as part of its strategic planning process. Representatives from the health, education, and family support agencies in both counties were invited to attend. The summits were sequenced to:

  • Gather a broad understanding of the current landscape, including strengths, challenges, and opportunities
  • Learn from existing efforts in other Help Me Grow counties in California and develop priorities for the Inland Empire’s system
  • Provide input on draft elements of the strategic plan and identify priority areas for the implementation pilot
