Families Count gives families of young children the opportunity to inform changes in their community. Parents and families who register will receive short 5-10 minute surveys to share information on what it is like to care for young children in the Inland Empire, and how to make the Inland Empire better for young children and their families.
Registered participants can choose to receive surveys by text message or email. At most, there will be one survey distributed every 4-6 week. Participants can choose which surveys they want to respond to and they can opt out at any time.
Families Count was created by Help Me Grow Inland Empire, in partnership with First 5 Riverside, First 5 San Bernardino, and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.
Registering to be part of Families Count means that your opinions will inform changes in your community and help:
If you are a parent or family with children under the age of nine and you live in the Inland Empire, you are eligible to participate.
The initial registration survey is expected to take 5-7 minutes. Following surveys will likely take 5-10 minutes to complete.
As part of the registration survey, you can select your preference for continued contact – text or email. We will send links to surveys to the contact option you select.
Survey links will be sent via text or email. The surveys can be taken on your phone, tablet, or computer. For the survey to work on your phone, you must have a ‘smartphone’ with connection to the internet (either through data or wifi).
As a thank you for your time, you will receive a $5 gift card when you complete the survey. Every survey you respond to is an important opportunity for your voice to be heard. By participating and sharing your experiences, you will help shape decisions for services, programs, and tax dollars, as mentioned above.
The surveys are all created and distributed by the Families Count team. The links will not include viruses. The links will only take you directly to the survey.
Families Count brings families together to improve the lives of their children and inform important changes in their community. We ask certain questions to ensure that all families’ voices throughout the Inland Empire are included.
Your information will never be sold or shared for other purposes outside of the goals shared on this website. Participant responses will be grouped together and individual names will not be tied to any particular response.
Any data received through the survey will be securely stored by Families Count. Personal information will never be shared. No personally identifying information submitted as part of Families Count will ever be distributed.
